Registration
The Welcome Centre registers English Language Learners including:
- Grades 1 to 12 students not born in Canada, with the exception of those students whose parents hold Work and/or Study Permits
- Grades 1 to 12 students born in Canada and English is not their first language
At the time of registration parents must bring the following documents:
- Proof of Birth (i.e. birth certificate showing parent's names, family register, etc.)
- Proof of Citizenship (i.e. citizenship card, immigration documents, landed papers, passports, etc.)
- Proof of Residence (i.e. purchase or rental agreement, property tax statement, utility bill, etc.)
- Health Documents (i.e. immunization records, allergies and/or medical condition information)
- Education Background Information (i.e. report cards for the last 2 years)
- Proof of Guardianship if the student is not living with parents (i.e. legal documentation)
