Class B Gas Fitter
Mechanical &
Electrical Maintenance Department
Reporting to
the Foreman of the HVAC/Mechanical group, working out of the
District Facilities Centre, the successful applicant will be
responsible for the repair and scheduled maintenance of building
heating and ventilating equipment.
Applicants
will have demonstrable computer skills and familiarity working with
direct digital controls and computerized maintenance management
systems. Individuals should list those systems with which they have
worked in their letter of application.
Trade
qualification BCTQ as a Refrigeration Technician complete with a
Class “B” Gas Fitter license and a special electrical endorsement;
valid BC Driver’s License; and five years related experience is
required. Familiarity or a specific qualification with respect to
heating and ventilation systems is mandatory and familiarity or a
specific qualification with refrigeration systems is desirable.
This is a
union position that offers an attractive hourly wage rate, plus a
liberal benefit package that includes health, vacation and sick
benefits.

Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) Support Worker
The ABA Support
Worker provides assistance to students with autism spectrum
disorders. The ABA Support Worker assists teachers in the delivery
of special education programs and services.
The District seeks
ABA Support Workers who have completed 1000 hours of training (250
hours must be focused on discrete trial teaching) in an intensive
applied behavioural analysis home program. Such training must be
supervised and assessed by a qualified ABA Behavioural Consultant.
Successful ABA
Support Workers must commit to completing the Surrey College ABA
Support Worker program.
Qualified and
