Goals and Objectives
To provide the student with remediation in the areas of Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Life skills.
To provide the student with the learning activities which support the student's social development with the goal of having the student develop the interpersonal skills required to be successful in the workforce.
Organization
Students are in a class called "B.A.S.E.S." in which they spend part of their time, depending upon their individual programs in the core academic subjects. The rest of the student's program is electives, in which the student is integrated into the regular electives for his or her grade level i.e. Home Economics, Industrial Education, and P.E.
Evaluation
Evaluation is based on formal and informal testing and the daily evaluation of the student's work. Progress is reported by anecdotal comment rather than by letter grades.
