Corporate Services manages the district courier centre, records centre, and reprographics centre, as well as the life cycle of essential district equipment.
Management of
essential district equipment includes setting specifications,
repair, replace, redeployment of equipment and equipment disposal.
The equipment categories that fall under the
corporate services umbrella include: telecommunications systems
(telephones, faxes, public address systems, cellular, two-way
radios, and pagers), photocopiers, audio visual equipment,
commercial and domestic (major) appliances, fine arts equipment,
physical education, industrial education, furniture, and office
equipment.

The principles guiding the determination of
Corporate Services standards and services are:
- Safety of the learning and working environment;
- Effectiveness of the learning and working environment;
- Cost efficiency of the service;
- Professional nature of the learning and working
environment;
- Available resources
Funding for the services provided by Corporate Services shall be
funded from Corporate Services operating budgets with the exception
of capital projects as funded by the Ministry of Education.
