Corporate Services manages the life cycle, repair and replacement of essential district equipment.

Equipment

Management of essential district equipment includes setting specifications, repair, replace, redeployment of equipment and asset disposal. The equipment categories that fall under the Corporate Services umbrella include: telecommunications systems (telephones, faxes, public address systems, cellular, two-way radios, and pagers), photocopiers, audio visual equipment, commercial and domestic (major) appliances, fine arts equipment, physical education, tech education, furniture and other office equipment.

Mandate

The principles guiding the determination of Corporate Services standards and services are:

1. Safety of the learning and working environment;
2. Effectiveness of the learning and working environment;
3. Cost efficiency of the service;
4. Professional nature of the learning and working environment;
5. Available resources

Funding for the services provided by Corporate Services shall be provided from Corporate Services operating budgets with the exception of capital projects as funded by the Ministry of Education.
