The Surrey School District is

Facilities Civil Technologist
Grounds Maintenance Department
Reporting to the Manager of Grounds Maintenance, the successful
applicant will be responsible for project management and the
preparation of drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and
project schedules for parking lots, drainage, retaining walls,
sports fields and playground equipment. The candidate will
coordinate minor renovations with in-house staff, outside
consultants and contractors and will assist the Manager in
developing maintenance procedures.
The applicant must be proficient with CAD (most recent AutoCAD
version) and business software (MS Office).
Qualifications:
Two-year civil technology diploma or certificate from an
accredited technical institute, eligible for registration as an
Applied Science Technologist (AScT), five years of practical
experience.
This is a union position offering a liberal benefit package with
an attractive hourly wage rate.

EDUCATION
ASSISTANT (On-Call)
The education assistant provides assistance to students with special
needs and assists teachers in the delivery of special education
programs and services.
Qualifications include successful completion of at least the first
year of the SETA program, or equivalent, from a community college or
other accredited post-secondary institution, or the successful
completion of an approved one-year Para Education Program. The
starting wage for this position is $25.13 per hour.

Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) Support Worker
The ABA Support
Worker provides assistance to students with autism spectrum
disorders. The ABA Support Worker assists teachers in the delivery
of special education programs and services.
The District seeks
ABA Support Workers who have completed 1000 hours of training (250
hours must be focused on discrete trial teaching) in an intensive
applied behavioural analysis home program. Such training must be
supervised and assessed by a qualified ABA Behavioural Consultant.
Successful ABA
Support Workers must commit to completing the Surrey College ABA
Support Worker program.
