The Literacy Team looks forward to working with you throughout the upcoming school year. A variety of opportunities and initiatives are in place for 2008-2009. These include: Developing Readers; After School Workshop Series; District Focus Days; Little Learners; Kindergarten Connections; and launching of the new Kindergarten Handbook.

2. Literacy Professional Reading Group
   Open to all teachers, this group meets five times a year to examine and discuss current professional resources.
