The Literacy Team looks forward to working with you throughout the upcoming school year. A variety of opportunities and initiatives are in place for 2009-2010. These include: Developing Readers; Making Connections – Grade 7/8 Write, After School Workshop Series; District Focus Days; Language, Literacy, Learning; Kindergarten Connections; and launching of the new Kindergarten Handbook.

2. Literacy Professional Reading Group
   Open to all teachers, this group meets five times a year to examine and discuss current professional resources.
