Enrolment will be impacted by the changing availability and affordability of family-oriented housing and demographic trends in the school district and province. In the past 10 years, school district enrolment in Surrey and
White Rock has grown by 8,881 students.
- The percentage of students graduating within six years of entering Grade 8 in 2010/11 was 83.4%.
- Student interest in continuing with post-secondary education was 69% (2008 survey) which is 11% higher than 2005.
- Surrey students consistently achieve high results, comparing well with the provincial average in the five key courses requiring a provincial examination. (English 10, Science 10, Mathematics 10, Socal Studies 11 or equivalent and English 12 or Communications 12.)
