The doors to Adams Road school opened to students on January 10, 2011. Students and family members gathered into the gym for a brief welcome celebration before students went off to begin studies in their brand new classrooms.

Many families joined in the celebration of this highly-anticipated school opening. Parents were taken on a tour of the beautiful, “green” facility. Hundreds of community members also attended an open house and tour Monday evening.

The school currently has 262 students enrolled with some room still left for future enrollment growth.

Adams Road Elementary school was decorated in anticipation of its official opening.

Class of 2011! The first Grade 7 class at Adams Road cuts the ribbon to enter the school.
