Education Minister Shirley Bond has recognized long-serving Surrey Board of Education trustee and current board chair Laurae McNally for her outstanding contributions to education in B.C.
Trustee McNally is among the longest-serving trustees in the province. Except from 1988 to 1993, she has served on the Surrey board since 1980. In 2005, trustee McNally also received a B.C. Community Achievement Award for her extensive community work.
