At its public board meeting on February 12, 2009, the Surrey Board of Education voted to support a public review process as part of deliberations on the future of three district schools.

Because of special circumstances unique to each school, district staff has proposed the three schools be closed and the students relocated to another site. However, no decision has been made and community input is sought.

Public Meeting Dates & Locations

You are invited to make your views and suggestions known at public meetings to be held as follows at the three schools being reviewed. Surrey Board of Education trustees will be in attendance to hear your opinions and suggestions:

• 7 p.m., March 4 - Anniedale Traditional School, 9744 - 176 St. -- proposed relocation to McLeod Rd. Elementary.
