Three of the seven provincial gold medal winners in academic excellence are Surrey school district students.
The B.C. Ministry of Education has announced the Grade 12 Graduation Program Examinations Scholarship winners, including the names of the seven B.C. students who scored 100 per cent on three provincial exams to win gold medals.
The top 21 students in all of B.C. -- a list which includes the seven gold medal winners – each receive a scholarship worth $2,500.
The Surrey students who received the $2,500 scholarship along with the gold medal are:
