Grade 10 Surrey Panorama Ridge Secondary student Jessica Misak is the winner of a $20,000 scholarship to the University of Ottawa after winning the Canadian Association of Immersion Teachers national contest on the subject of "Why Immersion is Important."
Using a combination of humour, cartoon images and school photos, Misak won over the judges with her short video clip entitled "Notre Choix."
