Earl Marriott Secondary student Jason Cho won the top honour in Internet Web Design at the 15th Annual Canadian Skills Competition held May 20 to 23 in Prince Edward Island. This follows his first place finish at the provincial level.
Cho continues the tradition of Earl Marriott students excelling in the web design category. In 2008, Earl Marriott student Erin Chung came home with the bronze in web design at the Canadians after winning the gold at the provincial level. In 2006 Earl Marriot student Joel Kitching won gold in web design at all three levels – regional, provincial and national – before going on to win silver at the world competition in 2007.
Congratulations also to Provincial gold winners Kyu Jin Han (Fashion Design) and Jenni Rempel (Graphic Design) who competed at the Canadian level of competition in PEI.
