After a month of cricket lessons, students from 10 district elementary schools tried out their new skills at the first annual RBC Wicket Cricket Carnival at Newton Athletic Park on June 5.

The RBC Wicket Cricket Program provided cricket kits to the 10 schools, as well as funding for four coaches who traveled to the schools. The RBC program funding also provided busing to the Cricket Carnival.

Below is a photo account of the enthusiasm of the students for their new sport and the organization efforts of staff, RBC personnel and volunteers that contributed to the event's success.
