School Profile

Fraser Heights Secondary School is located in the beautiful and relatively new community of Fraser Heights, in the northeast corner of Surrey, British Columbia. The school is in a picturesque setting, surrounded on two sides by wooded parkland, nestled in a residential community. The school is also relatively new, as it is in it's twelth year of operation. It is a beautiful facility with two gymasiumns, a 230 seat theatre, a library, two art rooms, four computer labs, band and choir rooms, and modern technology and industrial education facilities.

Fraser Heights Secondary School is a grade 8-12 school with 1530 students. It has a large English as a Second Language (E.S.L.) program with 210 students who receive ESL support. It also has a large International Student Population with 75 International Students who attend the school. The school is also located on the traditional territory of the Katzie First Nation and two students from the Katzie First Nation attend the school.

Fraser Heights Secondary is known for many successes in a wide variety of areas. It is a highly academic school and students have a record of achieving amongst the best in the District and the Province on Provincial exams, Advanced Placement Exams, and Academic Contests and Competitions. In addition to it's strong academic program, Fraser Heights also offers programs and opportunities in Career Education and Apprenticeships, Athletics, Technology and Industrial Education, Culinary Arts, Textiles, Interactive and Applied Technology, Art, Theatre, Band, Choir, and International Languages.
