[4 CREDITS - Grade 11] Prerequisite: Spanish 10 or Beginner’s Spanish 11
Spanish 11 will strengthen and build on the skills developed in Spanish 9 and 10 or Beginner’s Spanish 11. Listening, speaking, reading and writing skills are further developed. Awareness of Hispanic culture and history will continue to be developed. Successful completion of Spanish 11 provides the minimum language entrance requirement needed for most university programs. NOTE: Students should consider taking Spanish 11 and 12 in the same year to allow for optimum continuity in their language program. The Spanish 12 provincial exam is offered only in the second semester. Students should consult with the Spanish teachers or counsellors.
