The course introduces students to the World of Computer Graphic (CG) Arts. Students will be involved with introductory HTML, digital art, 3 D modeling, texture mapping, lighting and animation. These techniques form the framework of study for the course. This is a lab-oriented course offering students a practical, "hands-on" approach to problem solving, experimenting, creating, designing and building within the area of CG Arts. Based on computers, students will learn concepts of planning and designing storyboards, creating individual projects using 2 D graphic and 3 D animation software. It is recommended for students pursuing subsequent studies in animation, computer graphic art and digital photography.
