THE PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The Hockey Canada Skills Academy is a volunteer, community initiative, which began in 2004. The three local Secondary schools in the White Rock – South Surrey area are operated under the district licence agreement with Hockey Canada. It has been developed on the foundation of the national program offered in over 100 schools across Canada under the jurisdiction of Hockey Canada.

Our program offers each individual student the opportunity to develop their hockey skills, while improving their knowledge of the game as players, athletes, and team mates. We are also committed to teaching the values of leadership and how each student may make a positive impact on the game of hockey for years to come...........
